NutriLab is an AI-powered food analysis platform designed to bring transparent, explainable nutrition intelligence to everyone — not just calorie tracking. Whether it's a packaged snack, hawker meal, or home-cooked dish, NutriLab breaks it down ingredient by ingredient — with LLM-powered insights, user-editable results, and health risk flags like NOVA classification, additives, and allergens.
We’re proud to be the first food AI platform built not just for gym-goers, but for the millions managing chronic illness, diet fatigue, or clean eating goals across Asia and beyond.
Our Mission
NutriLab began as a high school initiative that won Singapore’s Young Trailblazers 2024 competition — taking home both “Most Impactful” and “Overall Best.” Our goal? To go beyond calorie counters and build real nutrition intelligence for aging and underserved populations, especially across Asia.
While most apps serve the Western market and Gen Z gym culture, we set out to create something that could scan complex labels, recognize local dishes, and explain what’s actually in your food — in plain language.
Today, we’re worked with dietitians, nutrition scientists, and tech experts to launch the world’s first fully explainable, user-editable, transparent food intelligence app.
NutriLab isn’t just a scanner — it’s a transparent health companion powered by GPT, vector databases, and user feedback. We’re expanding regional food support, enhancing ingredient reasoning, and scaling our platform to reach users worldwide — starting with our MVP in Singapore.
